Telephone Recording Control

What kind of device would I need to be able to record phone conversations that I have with sales agents?

I know there must be some small, cheap enough device which I can attach to my landline telephone which then attachs to some recording device which in turn can record conversations I have with sales agents (because they are soooo tricky!) Just having a bit of a problem with my ISP (and other utility companies….as we’ve just moved into a new house) and want to play them at their own game……they constantly say they are recording customer conversations for training and quality control purposes……so I want to do the same to them! Thanks

p.s: Do I then have to tell them I’m recording theconversation? Thanks

There are some answering machine’s that will do it ,but go to your local spy shop for the good stuff it’s not expensive for a simple set up. Yes you do need to tell who ever you record that they are being taped Failing to do so could land you in JAIL . ( providing you use the recording or someone turns you in to the F.C.C..)
