Should testing for a driver’s license be more strict for first timers?

Should everyone wanting a license be put through more stringent testing, say, a longer driving test, which means the student driver must stay in a “driving school” for two weeks, each day driving with the “tester” who tallies up points and, at the end of the two weeks, passes or fails the student?

Yes they should and I also agree with some of your ideas.
Parents are supposed to drive with the “pleebs” for at least a month and then sign-off that they have done the required hours but most parents don’t take the time or trouble they just simply sign……It it is my opion that most accidents are caused by Teens, Drunk Drivers and people over 70!!!
