Garrett Metal Detector
Which metal detector??
I’m looking into buying a good metal detector. I don’t have a lot of money, so I am looking at something thats under $250. Two that I am interested in are the Garrett 250 and Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. I’ve also heard that Whites are good. i would prefer to spend the least possible, but still get a good one. I probably won’t be going any special places, but stuff like campground, park, and probably my backyard. I would also like it to be waterproof, because the beach is a good place. so if you have any suggestions on what to buy, and where, please let me know. Thanks!

Of the two you mentioned, go with the Garrett 250. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the 250. As for being waterproof, the coil will be, but not the brainbox, do not get that wet.
