Best PCI capture card?
I’m looking for a good PCI capture card for an old PC I have hooked up to the TV set, so I can use it as a DVR. The PC runs Windows 2000 and only has regular PCI slots, a fairly office-spec computer. I would prefer one that works with a variety of software, as I had bad experiences with proprietary capture devices that only worked with the company’s crap software.
Knowing that, what also is good freeware software that would work with it to make it a good DVR?
Would prefer one that can do clear QAM (digital TV).
