Female Adapter Connectors

i recently bought a ps3 and have a dvi tv, is it possible to run audio through the red white sockets on my tv?

i just bought a ps3, and hdmi to dvi connectors, but doing this i abviously loose the audio through the dvi adapter, whats the best and easiest way to connect my ps3 to the tv for the audio, i have a 3.5mm female connector beside my dvi slot on my tv, shoulld i use this or is there another way?

You can hook up the av cables at the same time and connect the audio part to the stereo and on the ps3 goto settings then sound settings and select av out. Even though you have hdmi out for Display settings it will work great.
